The teams and the structures of the games will be facilitated by Coach B to keep games engaging for players and appropriate for the number of kids participating each Friday.The players run their own games with supervision but there are no referees.Letting youth basketball players simply play in less structured environments—like open gym—offers powerful developmental benefits that can’t always be replicated in organized practices and games. These settings encourage creativity, confidence, and problem-solving as players learn to read the game, adapt on the fly, and make decisions without constant instruction. Without fear of mistakes or rigid roles, kids are more willing to experiment, take risks, and develop their own style of play. Just as importantly, unstructured play builds a genuine love for the game, intrinsic motivation, and social skills, helping young athletes grow not only as basketball players, but as independent, confident competitors.

One of the most important things a player can do to improve their game. It is up to you to be a good shooter and getting those reps is gold. You can utilize any of the features on the Dr. Dish Ct+ during this 30 minute window. You can use this entire time for just one player (recommended) or use the multi-player mode for up to 5 players. It is recommended to use this machine for only 1-2 players at a time to get the most out of your session. No matter what you decide, the total cost for the 30 minutes is $25. Not recommended for young players that struggle to get the ball up to a 10 foot hoop. They must be strong enough to shoot the ball over the net of the shooting machine. If this is your first time using these machines with Can't Stop Me Basketball Training, please arrive 10-15 minutes early to get a brief overview. You will also need to have a completed Emergency Contact Form and Liability Waiver before you begin. You can complete this on site or print it out and bring it with you. Please download the Dr. Dish App and create your account. You may also choose to watch the Dr. Dish Overview Video below if you have time.
