What a Basic Wash and Blow Dry Includes:
Full Bath:
Your dog gets a thorough wash with professional-grade shampoo and conditioner, often tailored to their skin and coat type (like sensitive skin, hypoallergenic, etc.).Rinse and Drying After the bath, your dog will be rinsed thoroughly to ensure there’s no shampoo residue left. They’ll then use a high-velocity blow dryer to dry the dog’s coat. This step is important as it prevents dampness (which can cause skin issues) and helps keep your dog’s coat fluffier.Light Brushing (optional, but often included)Brushing during drying to remove tangles, loose hair, and mats, especially for dogs with medium to long fur. This helps prevent matting and keeps their coat healthy. For dogs with short coats, this might just be a quick run-through to make sure they don’t have any tangles.Paw Drying and Ear Check: mobile groomers will also check and wipe the dog’s paws and ears while drying, just as part of the cleanup processEar cleaning might not be included unless requested, as it's usually a separate service.
