The Kentish Lady departs from Maidstone Town Centre and cruises upriver through Farleigh Lock and onwards under Farleigh, Barming and Teston bridges, turning at Teston Lock for the return journey.

Whilst sailing you can enjoy a complimentary lunch/supper of Fish & Chips, plus a tea, coffee or water as well as a selection of fresh fruit (lunch cruise only), you will be looked after by an attentive crew and we welcome you to move around the boat so as to enjoy our open decked spaces on the front and rear of the vessel.

With history around every corner and beautiful scenery this excursion is a wonderful experience from start to finish and includes an informative commentary, once we are through Farleigh lock the countryside opens up to reveal wildlife of all varieties including Kingfishers, Herons, Swans, Cormorants, Geese and Ducks, so remember to keep a watchful eye out!

The boat can seat a maximum of 70 people so please be aware that you or your group will be joined together with other passengers unless you hire the entire vessel privately, your food is brought on at the beginning of the cruise and is sourced from local suppliers, food is to be eaten take away style on your lap. (Cutlery and a selection of condiments are supplied)

Whilst waiting to depart at our town centre moorings you can enjoy ice creams and snacks from our riverside refreshments kiosk.

The catamaran-style vessel has a fully licensed bar and onboard toilet facilities, its ground-level decks also provide easy access for a limited number of standard wheelchairs.

Please note, that we do not accept children under 16 years old on our Three Hour Cruises. Pets (other than official guide or assistance dogs) are also not permitted onboard.

The Kentish Lady is delighted to offer an exclusive and unique excursion for groups, societies and individuals to experience the scenic River Medway combined with a guided tour of Allington Castle’s beautiful gardens, courtyards and also its impressive Great Hall.

Allington Castle is possibly one of Kent’s best-kept secrets. The 13th-century medieval castle is nestled in 42 acres of beautiful gardens adjacent to the River Medway. The privately-owned estate with Italian gardens, lavender walk, parterres, courtyard & formal ponds, surrounded by a moat and fronted by two lakes, really is an incredible place to visit.

Departing from our mooring adjacent to the Archbishops’ palace in Maidstone the Kentish Lady Cruises down the river (with commentary) to a private mooring at the castle estate. Here passengers disembark and are met by castle staff to begin their guided tour, the tour takes approximately 1.5hrs and is predominantly a walking tour, suitable footwear and attire must be worn.

At the end of the tour, it's back on board the Kentish Lady for tea, coffee and cakes before heading back to our mooring in Maidstone.

Please note: This excursion includes steps, slopes, and uneven and grassed areas which may not be suitable for those with reduced mobility.

La mise en place d’un Comité aviseur devenant permanent à l’issue du projet 3. L’organisation d’un colloque portant sur le thème: Vivre de la discrimination et du racisme quand on est une Femme. Les moyens d'y remédier. 4. L’élaboration de plaidoyers Les régions ciblées sont: Montréal, Laval, Montérégie, Estrie, Québec, Outaouais, Mauricie et Centre du Québec.
