Day 1: Arrive Kathmandu.
Day 2: Kathmandu sightseeing tour, equipment check, final permit
preparation.
Day 3: Preparation, and briefing at Ministry of Tourism.
Day 4: Fly Kathmandu to Lukla. Trek and overnight at Phakding.
Day 5: Trek to Namche Bazaar.
Day 6: Rest and acclimatisation in Namche Bazaar 3450m.
Day 7: Trek and overnight to Thyangboche.
Day 8: Trek and overnight to Dingboche.
Day 9-13: Acclimatisation hikes including seminar about high altitude
acclimatisation at the hospital in nearby Pheriche, run by the Himalayan Rescue
Association.
Day 14: Trek and overnight to Lobuje.
Day 15: Trek to Everest base camp.
Day 16-18: Rest and preparation.
Day 19-57: Climbing period for Everest. Our sherpas will stock higher camps
and we will make several rotations in preparation for the summit window
which is usually from mid May.
Day 58-62: Return trek to Namche Bazaar via Dingboche, Thyangboche,
Namche and then Lukla.
Day 63: Fly Lukla to Kathmandu.
Day 64: Celebrations in Kathmandu.
Day 65: Final Departure.
PLEASE NOTE: The above itinerary is not a fixed programme but is intended to give an indication of the likely
events during the expedition. Please note that because of climbing Everest, it will be necessary to have a
flexible plan in order to take the best advantage of situations as they present themselves. Any changes to the
itinerary will be made with a view to maximising the benefit to the team members and of ensuring their
