Transitional Counseling services are geared toward a unique segment of the population. This counseling serves those who are entering into new seasons of life and making transitions, such as becoming new parents or empty-nesters, adult children becoming full time caregivers for aging parents and grandparents, or those dealing with unexpected illnesses or family members with special needs. Clients in need of transitional counseling services are often financially obligated elsewhere, and we want to offer services to them to meet the needs of good mental health without overtaxing already strained finances.You MUST answer yes to at least one of these questions to qualify for Transitional Counseling:1. Are you the primary caregiver of a person with documented special needs, a documented chronic illness, or documented medical fragility?2. Are you under the age of 21, and the immediate family member (brother, sister, son, daughter) of a person with documented special needs, a documented chronic illness, or documented medical fragility?3. Do you spend more than $100/month on prescribed medication for someone in your immediate care?If you can not answer yes to at least one of the above questions, then unfortunately, you do not qualify for Transitional Counseling. You must book Individual sessions, Group sessions, or whichever other type of counseling sessions fit your needs.Transitional Counseling has a 6 session minimum.
