Test Required.All visitors must be fully vaccinated (14 days past 2nd dose) and show QR code at screening
Booking:
·
There are no indoor
visits if resident is symptomatic, self isolating or during outbreak.
·
No drop-in visits are permitted at this time, all visits must be
scheduled in advance.
·
Visiting Hours: 10-1130 AM;
1:30-4:30 PM; 6-7 PM scheduled in 60 minute time slots with time in between
to allow for disinfecting all surfaces that were or may have been touched by
residents or visitor.

Visit will be scheduled
by using booking website or contacting Kathryn Penaligon and booking an available time slot at
least 48 hours in advance. We ask two visits/resident/week in order to give
every resident an opportunity for a visit. Additional visits may be booked if
there are open time slots.

The name of the
resident and the name of the visitor must be provided at booking. The visitor
is not to visit with any other resident while on site and must stay 2 meters
distance from all residents.

The visitor(s) must
have visit confirmed with the recreation department to determine that the time
slot is available.
·
Visitor must wear a medical mask.
Day of visit:

falling down often

Has a doctor, health
care provider, or public health unit told you that you should currently be
isolating (staying at home)?o
In the last 14 days,
have you been identified as a "close contact" of someone who
currently has Covid-19? o
In the last 14 days,
have you received a Covid Alert exposure notification on your cell phone? (If
you already went for a test and got a negative result, answer "No")o
In the last 14 days,
have you or anyone you live with travelled outside of Canada? o
Is anyone you live with
currently experiencing any new Covid-19 symptoms and/or waiting for test
results after experiencing symptoms? If the visitor has any
of these symptoms, or answers YES to the questions, they should not visit.
Arriving at Facility:·
Visitor must put on
their face mask when they arrive on property, perform hand hygiene, and
complete the screening form before approaching the screening desk. Visitor will be provided with a surgical/procedure mask and eye
protection. The mask must be worn correctly and cover the nose, mouth, and chin at all times inside the facility as well as the eye protection. · All visitor must show proof of vaccination (QR codes) at every visit. ·
Visitor will need to
undergo a Covid rapid test and pass screening, before being permitted entry to
the facility (screening/testing will take 20 min. to
complete, please arrive early to allow for this).· If the visitor does not pass screening or receives a + rapid
antigen result; they cannot visit the resident.
(If required, the screener will contact the RN to
assist when visitation is denied).·
Screener will complete
the required details of the visitor/resident being visited on the visitor log. ·
Visitor will be
directed to the designated indoor visiting area inside.·
Where either the resident or general visitors are not fully
immunized the general visitor must maintain two metres physical distance from
residents. Where both the resident
and the general visitor are both fully immunized close physical contact is
permitted. Proof
of vaccinations required. Brief hugs will also be
permitted regardless of immunization status.
Consequences of not
following protocols: These protocols are in
place to keep residents and staff safe. It is important to understand that
these visits are non-contact visits (brief hugs are permitted). If any of these
protocols are not followed, there may be restrictions placed upon future
visits.
