Known as a fun and laid-back individual, Amirul Aiman AKA Yol is a 32-year-old self-taught drummer from Subang Jaya, Malaysia.Despite majoring in Journalism and from Upper Iowa University, USA, his deep passion for music and drumming has made himactive as a freelance drummer, session musician, & recording artiste since 2007.Amirul's craft as a drummer have seen him played and sessions across multiple genres of music such as; Donamarie (Nu Metal), Kimistri (Alternative Rock), Nabil Nazmi Trio (Blues), Klaronika (Post Rock), Rezz Zawie (Pop), Segi (Progressive Rock), and many more.Additionally, he actively performs at private functions & concerts. Amirul is a winner of Tiger Jams 2016 with Donamarie and experienced collaborating with Hong Kong Pop-Punk superstars ToNick and legendary producer Greg Henderson.He also appeared in Malaysia's Hip-Hop virtuoso Malique 2017 music video "Pejamkan Mata".As of 2020, Amirul is still actively performing and is in the midst of completing his formal education in drums and are looking forward to sharing his musical experiences with future audience and students.
