In this hands-on class, students will explore how colors can come from the natural world. We’ll experiment with creating our own paints by smashing, mixing, and working with flowers, leaves, and other plant materials to see what colors they produce.Using their handmade paints, they’ll design and create their own nature-inspired pieces.Along the way, we’ll talk about why plants have different colors and how people have used plants to make color throughout history. This class blends creativity, curiosity, and a little bit of messy exploration—helping kids see the beauty and possibility in the world around them.

Create a one-of-a-kind nature journal to use all summer long!Kids will assemble their own journal from start to finish — including lacing the binding themselves — creating a special place to draw, doodle, record observations, and capture summer adventures inspired by the included “Daily Dose of Farm Fun” calendar.Each kit includes dried flowers so children can decorate the cover and make their journal completely their own. Perfect for: • sketches • nature observations • pressed flowers • summer memories • cloud watching • outdoor discoveries*This activity will be ready to pickup from our farmstand June 5th by 10am for you to complete at home. 

Kids will explore herbs, flowers, colors, scents, and sunshine while creating their own refreshing herbal sun tea blends. Each kit includes: • a glass quart jar with reusable plastic pour lid • a handcrafted herbal tea blend • simple instructions for making sun tea Families can choose from 3 different blends: Butterfly Pea Blend Hibiscus Berry Blend Sunshine Citrus Blend This kit encourages: • sensory exploration • creativity • herbal learning • observation • simple kitchen skills • summer science fun A simple summer activity designed to slow things down and enjoy the season together. 4 hour excursion. On this tour we get a chance to see the back side of the resorts and explore some of the forestry.  We'll stop at Bluff Lake for lunch (you bring or you can have us add it to your tour), and then continue on to a magical vista where you can almost see Catalina (we did say almost), and then return from the back side of Bear Mountain.  There are many opportunities for photos along the way.

2 hour excursion.  This tour goes around the lake, stops at the dam for a photo op, continues through the village and finishes with a trip through Moonloaf.  We take our time enjoy the views of Big Bear Lake!
