Scholars in Training Education Center (SIT) was established in the summer of 2016 when the name and foundational principles of the program were nurtured by Keeyama Mumford. Spurred by a longtime desire to operate a philosophically innovative early childhood program, Keeyama pursued funding and space. Over time and after an extensive conversation with a close friend and Godmother to her children, Tierra Johnson decided to partner with Keeyama in making this dream a reality.

Meeting to go over your child progress. 

Review current academic status, transcript review, and four year plan. Discuss course options to build a transcript that best reflects an individual student's academic strengths and interests.

All students can consider earning 15 to 30 college credits while in high school. How this looks can be very different for each student. Discuss your options and begin planning during this meeting.

Career Center opportunities, looking for employment, discovering interesting career options, etc.

These appointments will be provided through the ZOOM platform online.  These appointments are 50 min. sessions. These appointments are designed to be scheduled as recurring appointments, every 2 weeks.Please Note: These appointments are reserved for returning clients who have had a parent meeting with their clinician and have determined that they are ready to move to Bi-weekly sessions.    Please understand that if you select this option, you will be automatically signed up for appointments on the same day/time, every other week from the week of your first selected date through to Dec. 20th, 2019. If you for any reason need to change or cancel an appointment, you will be expected to do so within a 24hr ahead notice of each scheduled session or you will be responsible for the fee for that individual session in full.
