During the first session, the learning coach will ask the student a series of questions to understand the student’s largest challenges academically and will begin helping the student chart a game plan for success. Thereafter the sessions will focus on what the student says are immediate needs, such as studying for a particular type of test, taking notes in class, reading a difficult textbook, staying motivated, and/or juggling all that needs to be done in a do-able time management plan.

Meet with your tutor for an hour long session to work on overall study skills, foreign language, test prep, or specific subjects. Tutoring always occurs in public or under the supervision of an academic institution.
