For patients choosing a private session, we will meet with you and gather some information about your health history, and use the Acugraph® to help assess your current health situation.  Once we establish a baseline, we will be able to monitor treatment progress.  The Acugraph® is a technological advancement that allows your acupuncturist to measure and image any excess or deficient energy levels inhibiting organ function. 90 minute session

Acupuncture has been used for thousands of years to treat a wide variety of complaints and to maintain well being.How does it work and what effects does it have?Acupuncture stimulates the body to heal itself. Research has shown pain relief correlates to increased endorphins in cerebrospinal fluid – showing that the body has manufactured its own ‘opiates’ for pain relief and healing. There may be changes in temperature and muscle tone. Generally there is a ‘normalising’ effect so that if a person is tense they will relax and a person who is lethargic will feel more energised. Many people can reduce or stop their pain medications as symptoms resolve. Acupuncture heals anyone, including  animals. The million dollar race horses have acupuncture as they heal faster, without drugs ( and side effects) and they love it.  Who would benefit? Just about anyone will feel better after acupuncture.
