A trike is a ULA (Ultralight aircraft) composed of a robust hang-glider and a powered trike. This aircraft can take off from a runway or a field and can fly at an average speed of 90 km per hour. The typical autonomy is 3.5 hours and therefore large distances can be covered. Some people have traveled around the world with that type of aircraft.

One unique characteristic of this aircraft is the large weight it can carry compared to his empty weight. A two-seater trike ultralight can carry more payload than a Cessna 152 for the same flight autonomy! Another interesting characteristic is that it can be folded in 20 minutes and stored in a small place like a home garage or carried on a small trailer.

This introductory paramotor course has been designed with carefully controlled fun in mind (and will deliver you incredible bragging rights). You will learn about the equipment, the basics of aerodynamics and how to judge the wind in order to fly. With an understanding of the theory in hand, you will practice launch and handling skills on the ground with the goal of having you ready to fly in just four hours! Once you can demonstrate the ability to keep a straight line moving forward, you are then ready to try your first free flight.
We will use our hydraulic winch to bring you into the air as high as 100 feet above our grassy 2,500 feet long runway. Floating along and smiling down on the world, you will get a taste of flight and controlling the wing. Throughout the flight and your landing, our instructions will be ever-present over the wireless radio to guide you to a gentle landing.

• Equipment limitations: equipment can only take persons weighing min.45kg, max.110kg
• To bring/wear: sunscreen, water, snacks, long sleeve t-shirt/sweater, long pants, open face helmet, hiking shoes, sunglasses

This is the Powered Paraglider or Paramotor, big brother. A similar concept but adapted to a trike with wheels allows you to take off easily in no wind conditions. Used commonly for low flying between 500 to 1,500 feet with a cruise speed of  44 mph will bring a natural smile to your face while looking at the ground from above.
