During your appointment you can expect a thorough oral health examination which may include X-Rays (allows us to assess for cavities as well as the bone levels supporting the teeth), hypertension screening, scaling/root planing, polishing(stain removal), and Fluoride treatment. 
All radiographs taken can be forwarded to a dentist of your choosing if needed. 

Please note everyone has individual needs and therefore each treatment plan differs in the services provided. 

During your appointment you can expect an oral health examination which may include X-Rays (allows us to assess for cavities),  scaling of mineralized deposit if needed, polishing(stain and plaque removal), and Fluoride treatment if indicated. We will also provide in depth brushing and flossing instructions to help your child with their homecare!
All radiographs taken can be forwarded to a dentist of your choosing if needed.

Perhaps you are aware that your gums are bleeding, swollen, there is a lot of hard tarter and staining on your teeth. Perhaps you have bad taste and odor from your mouth. If you have been diagnosed already for need of treatment than this is the visit for you. Gum treatment needs will be verified by Dr. Lofholm, as the severity of the gum disease has to be established first.

On this visit we are looking forward to meeting you, getting to know you. You will meet the team and the doctor. After your xrays and digital scan of your mouth, the doctor will do a through examination of your teeth and gums and oral cancer screening. Teeth cleaning time is included in this visit and if anything is outside of healthy gums we will inform you first. Doctor and team will review any treatment recommendations.
