Please feel free to alter heights and move distances to suit your horse but ensure that you leave everything tidy - no poles on the ground please. If any equipment gets broken as long as it was being used correctly you won't be charged but please do let me know. A pony morning giving an opportunity to spend time with ponies - grooming, learn about horse care and also a half hour pony ride.

INFORMATION PLEASE READ - Please make sure your child comes with stout footwear/boots, long sleeve top, leggings/jodhpurs, waterproofs, a drink and a snack.

Can you apply sun-cream before they come if it looks like being hot and they should bring some to apply themselves if necessary.

If they have any allergies or conditions we need to be aware of please tell us on arrival.

Come and use our arena all year round. £12 for up to two horses for an hour. 07976 956815 Riders do hire the arena at their own risk. We have a full risk assessment available for you to see but please do be aware of / avoid and report and hazards you see.

Tilly, Alfie & Turbo for the smaller riders

Humphrey, Thunder & Jet for the taller riders.

These lessons will usually be in the smaller training arena, depending on other lessons at the same time.

Sometimes we may have to use a different pony for unforseen reasons, we will always aim to match the correct horse/pony for our riders.

Extra riders at £25 each - please message Sam to let us know if you have extra riders and these are payable on the day by cash or card.

Can you please tell us all about the riders/age ability / experience / favourite ponies so that we can try and make sure you get the right ponies / level.

There is a possibility to add a third (or fourth rider) please message if this is something you are interested in.  The lesson would then be £25 per rider.

Perfect introductory lesson for young riders

For riders over 5 stone choose Humphrey, 

Pony riding and pony grooming packages available.   Unicorn or Pirate them available.

We ask for a deposit to hold the date and then the final payment on the day by cash or card as we know that numbers may change last minute due to illness or late notice acceptance.

Prices do vary depending on the number of guests / style of party but approximately :

Tiny Tots / Starter Riders Party   40 minutes split 20 minutes riding & 20 minutes pony care. Up to three guests - £85, then £25 for guests 4 to 9.  Further guests at £20 each.  

Party for 60 minutes split 30 minutes riding & 30 minutes pony care - up to ten guests.  For 3 children £105, then £33 each for guests 4 to 9, further guests at £25 each.

Join us at the stables to ride the pony of your choice and help untack and feed the ponies and helping with the stables, and routine pony care.

PCUK members only will work toward Pony Club badges.

This is only for those who have gained level five pony care.

For those who want to ride and join the volunteering team. 

You must get a parent to sign you in on arrival and leave a contact phone number.

Join us on a Saturday or Sunday morning, ride in a group lesson and help with the stables and leading.

Also help out and demonstrate stable management to those learning the lower level pony care basics.

Half an hour riding minimum plus helping with the ponies & lessons.

Leading can be quite hard work, so please bring a drink and a snack.

Tilly is the most beautiful little shetland pony with a wonderful calm nature.

Bit stressed come and spend time with Tilly - she is adorable and gentle.

Not well enough / ready to ride at the minute but you love horses - then Tilly Time is perfect.

Sometimes it is calming to just be with the horses, patting them, giving them a groom and forgetting about our worries.

These lessons will be in the larger main arena.

This is an on the ground session to refresh skills for the Progressive Tests plus also a badge rally for mini and achievement badges.

One hour pony care.  Learn how to approach and look after a pony.

Being with the ponies brings many benefits for many people and it is great fun too.

We believe it covers most of the five steps to wellness -

For riders of any age and ability - non riders too!

Emily Chambers instructs on Mechanical Millie for a half hour which benefits -

novices - experiencing the horse's paces and feeling how the rider's movement affects the horse.

intermediates - working on how balance and transitions.

advanced - feeling diagonals and canter leads and using core / balance to improve riding skills.

Blue level and above training with Anna Gallie

45 minutes - group max 3 riders, all need to be canter/jumping level.

Get your horse ready to ride, 40 minute private lesson, then untack and put your horse away.
