In the interview, we will ask you questions about your experiences with activewear or outerwear, and how these products could be improved to better suit you.

For your time, we would like to offer you a $25 digital gift card to Amazon.com. Directly after the interview, we will email the gift card to you - or send it to you via text, whichever you prefer. 

The interviews will take approximately 30-45 minutes. Your participation in this research is voluntary.  If you decide to participate in the study, you may withdraw your consent and stop participation at any time without penalty.  You may at any point choose to skip a question during the interview, decline to answer a question, or quit the study at any time. 

We will be collecting some personal information for the study. These include your age, information about your disability, gender identity, race/ethnicity, veteran status, and information about your hometown. For accounting purposes for the gift card incentives, we are also required to collect your address and if you are a foreign national.

When we report and share the data with others, we will combine the data from all participants, thereby ensuring your confidentiality.  Research records will be stored securely on a secured network drive and password protected. Only the research team will have access to the data.

There are no known risks or direct benefits to you, but we hope to gain more knowledge on inclusive design improvements for activewear and outerwear that will ultimately benefit the disability community.
