IMPORTANT INFORMATION
• All participants are required to disclose any medical conditions in pre-course declaration provided at the venue
• During this training there will be dynamic simulations which involve varying degrees of simulated violence and aggression, therefore there may be yelling, name calling, words and actions simulating aggression or to describe aggression, situations, etc.
• If you have experienced any personal life traumas that you believe may have a psychological effect on you during this training, you will need to advise your Manager and the Trainer, prior to commencement. We have no desire to traumatise you or cause you any additional harm.
• Those who are on work cover/ return to work program or are pregnant are unable to participate in the physical training.
• Participants who are unable to attend training, or are unable to demonstrate physical intervention skills for any reason, cannot be assessed as ‘competent’ by the Trainer.
• Participants are required to wear closed in shoes. Failure to do so will result in the inability to attend the course on the day.
- Pre-requisites for 1 day Blended Training (4 x I-Learn Modules) must be completed prior to arriving to the course. Failure to do so will result in inability to attend the Maybo course.
