We offer exceptional care, centered around the whole child and their learning needs. We emphasize the stable comfort and security of home while still prioritizing structure with age-appropriate developmental and hands on learning throughout play. We believe with our student to teacher ratio of one teacher for every 6 children we can stay very attentive to our children’s learning needs while we help them foster confidence in learning and exploring the world around them. Our unique hours of operation, offer parents the opportunity to reserve time for their littles in 2-hour increments by scheduling appointments on our online platform and paying on a as needed basis. We encourage all parents to look ahead on the schedule as we have limited availability and priority will be given on a first come first served basis. All students will be asked to bring a backpack including necessary care items such as diapers, wipes, change of outfit and formula & bottle if applicable. First Impressions will offer three 2-hour shifts Monday-Friday. First morning shift will begin at 8am and go through 10am, second morning shift will go from 10am through 12pm. Afternoon shift will begin at 12:30pm and go through 2:30pm. We ask that all children be picked up in a timely manner to allow for easy transition for the next shift of children. We will plan special parent’s nights out, and special occasion events, so we encourage parents to watch our online website to sign up for those times. Parents will pay online when the child is scheduled. This is a nonrefundable transaction and will be paid for the entirety of the 2-hour period. If a parent needs to pick their child up early, this is doable with communication, but there will be no refund for that time.At First Impressions we take the proactive approach of teacher engagement with our children. We offer a peaceful and secure, technology free, environment where there are options for learning and play within a structured schedule. We feel this helps to eliminate potential frustrations and negative behavior. We encourage good choices from the children through a loving and logistical way of redirection. Our small class size and calming atmosphere help us to meet every child at their level and compliment their natural abilities and interests. Communication with parents will be done via messages through our online presence. If field trips are scheduled, we will indicate this through our online presence and give parents the opportunity to sign their child up on a first come first serve basis. For the protection and privacy of our children, we ask that parents do not take pictures within our facility.
