Free peanut allergy screenings are available for any person with known risk factors of peanut allergy. When a person allergic to peanut proteins comes in direct or indirect contact with peanuts, an immune system response is triggered within seconds or minutes causing skin rashes, vomiting, or difficulty breathing. Direct contact involves eating food containing peanuts, while indirect contact involves exposure to peanuts or products containing peanuts. Currently, there is no cure for peanut allergy. These screenings are completely free; no health insurance required. Screenings are available at our main office in Columbus, located at 99 N. Brice Rd, Suite 220, Columbus, OH 43213.
