This workshop has been designed to provide evidence-based information and strategies to support families to ensure that their children reach their active play developmental milestones and foster a love of being active. This free workshop is designed for parents/carers of children aged 2 (or who are upwardly mobile) to 5 years – anyone who is interested can attend. This workshop is for parents and caregivers whose child has been referred into the Child Development Service for Occupational Therapy.Sensory Processing is a 2-hour workshop run by Occupational Therapists and seeks to provide parents/carers with information and practical ideas surrounding common concerns related to their child’s sensory processing difficulties. We also provide handouts explaining the strategies discussed in the workshop and how to use the strategies with your child.

This workshop is for parents and caregivers whose child has been referred into the Child Development Service for Occupational Therapy. Hands On is an interactive 2-hour workshop for parents designed to explore the skills necessary for the development of fine motor skills. Hands On is designed and run by Occupational Therapists who will explain the underlying skills necessary when completing fine motor activities, as well as, providing practical examples that can be easily completed within everyday routines.
