If you do not want the hassle of doing this yourself, then we have a full advocacy service and can advocate in appeals via distance (whole of the UK) or in person in most areas of the UK wherever possible and if costs are covered. We do everything on paper and advise extensively on the phone/email on what to expect. We will prepare all the legal submissions that will be put before the court before the hearing. We will set up a file and advise on any necessary evidence that can help along the way, we also can look through and forward this evidence for you to Tribunal and assist with letters to the GP/DWP and liaise with Court personnel. If you win the appeal, we ask for a voluntary suggested donation amount, which will discussed when the appeal has ended, and your backpay has been received. We also ask for feedback as we feel that it is very important to share this to help support others going through the same process (this can be done anonymously) As we are a registered non-profit CIC, we ask for a contribution towards the costs of the advocacy service if you win your appeal. Due to the amount of work involved, this goes right back to where it is needed and helps others who need our help. Remember, we are more experienced in this field than many AND have 3 legally qualified law advocates on board who are LLB degree standard or above and are the most experienced in this area. Two are ex-cab law advisers in this area we call upon to review your file from time to time. Your advocate will be qualified to LLB Hons (Law degree) standard. We have an 88% success rate in distance appeals and 95% in person in all advocacy appeals to date, from over 2000 appeals since 2013. The work involved is to a very high standard, and we are registered/compliant under the Data Protection Act 2018 and fully insured with professional indemnity. You can come and see us if you prefer, or we can post everything to you, including the form of authority and a copy of the SSCS1 form, and talk you through the completion. There is a lot you can do to help yourself if you do not wish to use the Fightback Personal Law Advocacy Service. More information is listed on the Facebook page and VIP that might help with gathering evidence and preparing your case. You can use our free advice line, which is open 3 days a week, or ask a question via email, Facebook, or VIP platform. You do not have to sign up for the advocacy service to use our help. However, many people do not want the hassle of doing the appeal and prefer to do so and increase their chances of success.
