About the Vaccine:The flu vaccine does not contain any live virus so cannot give you the flu.It is your best defense against the flu, and one dose will cover you for this year's flu season.It doesn't protect you against all coughs and colds.It can take two (2) weeks to build up effective immunity.Side Effects of the Vaccine:Most people have minimal to no side effects.Some people report redness, discomfort and swelling at the injection site; these are usually mild and do not last long.Occasionally people report mild fever, muscle aches and feeling unwell for a few days.This is not the flu, but a natural immune response to the vaccine.Most side effects can be treated with paracetamol, rest and fluids.If you feel anything that concerns you after the flu vaccination, contact your GP or Health Direct on 1800 022 222.Remember: Please ensure you bring your Medicare Card with you to your appointment.COVID 19 Information:DO NOT attend for your flu vaccination if you have a fever, symptoms of COVID-19 or you have had contact with anyone who has tested positive to COVID-19 within the last seven (7) days prior to your appointment.

I'll have a super cute fall setup ready to go! Complete with props (leaves, pumpkins, signs), but feel free to bring your own! Dress in your fave fall attire.
