A drop of blood is extracted from a finger tip and immediately viewed under the microscope. This technique is known as live blood analysis and examines 5 million of your blood cells in their living state. During the appointment Shirah will analyse your blood as you watch (you will see the image from the microscope on a big screen) and describe everything she sees in the sample. You will clearly see normal cells and be able to compare them to abnormal cells of which there can be a huge variety. Each type of abnormal cell is created via various pathways in the body and can highlight particular issues. Shirah will explain the significance of everything that is within the sample and will highlight any significant findings.
The dry blood is a different method that studies oxidative stress, inflammatory levels, toxicity, heavy metal presence and evidence of parasites as well as other indications. This method used to be used as a bedside test to determine how critical patients were. It has since been studied and verified as a tool for assessing oxidative stress and other health issues. Shirah will report and explain any significant findings in the dry blood.
After your appointment, Shirah will create and send your report to you. It will include some dietary, lifestyle and supplement recommendations for you to follow, based on your blood analysis results and your current and past health history.
