Learn a new way to assess and treat common client complaints from an entirely different perspective by bringing bodywork to the floor. In this 2 day class, students will learn to use hands, feet, knees, and elbows to bring the ultimate bodywork experience to your practice. We focus on kinetic chains and how to promote balance through movement, ROM, compression, and detailed client communication with in a session.

Die HRV (Herzfrequenzvariabilität, VNS-Analyse) misst die Fitness Deines autonomen Nervensystems. Sie wird zu den besten objektiven Messwerten für die Regeneration und damit Belastbarkeit und Leistungsbereitschaft Deines Körpers gezählt. In diesem Artikel erfährst Du alles, was Du über die HRV Messung wissen musst:

Der Herzschlag wird von der inneren Uhr, der Atmung, von Emotionen und von äußeren Einflüssen gesteuert; d. h., das Herz reagiert unmittelbar auf alles, was der Mensch im Außen erlebt und im Inneren denkt und fühlt mit fein abgestimmten Veränderungen (Variationen) der Herzschlagfolge. So steigt die Herzfrequenz bei körperlicher Anstrengung oder Stress und sinkt in Ruhe oder während des Schlafens.

Dieses Phänomen nennt man Herzratenvariabilität, abgekürzt HRV.

Die HRV beschreibt also die Fähigkeit des Herzens, den zeitlichen Abstand von einem Herzschlag zum nächsten laufend zu verändern und sich so flexibel ständig wechselnden Herausforderungen anzupassen. Sie ist ein Maß für die allgemeine Anpassungsfähigkeit eines Organismus. Die Steuerung geschieht durch das Aktivieren des Sympathikus (im Sinne der Anspannung) und des Parasympathikus (im Sinne der Erholung). Verantwortlich für das Beschleunigen oder Entschleunigen des Herzschlages ist das autonome Nervensystem (Shaffer et al., 2014; McCraty & Shaffer, 2015). Sie errechnet sich aus den millisekundengenauen Abständen zwischen den einzelnen Herzschlägen eines Menschen.

Je variabler der Herzschlag, desto gesünder der Organismus. Buche gerne einen Termin, um den Zustand Deines Nervensystems herauszufinden. 

In der heutigen Ernährung haben wir meistens einen starken Überschuss an entzündungsfördernden Omega-6-Fettsäuren und einen Mangel an entzündungshemmenden Omega-3-Fettsäuren.

Die Omega-3-Fettsäuren EPA und DHA senken den Blutdruck, verbessern die kognitive Funktion, wirken entzündungshemmend und schmerzlindernd und reduzieren das Risiko für ganz verschiedene Erkrankungen.

Bevor sich die Ernährungsgewohnheiten so stark verändert haben und die Menschen einen hohen Anteil an industriell veränderten Lebensmitteln gegessen haben, war es normal, dass man ein Verhältnis von Omega-6 zu Omega-3 von 1:1 im Körper hatte. Wenn man heute Messungen dazu durchführt, liegt das Verhältnis im Durchschnitt bei 15:1, also deutlich mehr Omega-6 als Omega-3. 

Omega-3 kommt in Form der hochwertigen Fettsäuren EPA und DHA ausschließlich in maritimen Quellen vor, also in Mikroalgen und Fischen. Die Vorstufen kommen zum Beispiel in Nüssen und Samen und in Leinöl vor, können daraus aber nur zu 1-10% zu EPA und DHA umgewandelt werden. 

Nach dem Termin erhalten Sie innerhalb weniger Tage per e-Mail einen ausführlichen Befund, der Ihnen das Ergebnis erläutert. Wir arbeiten mit einem zertifizierten Labor zusammen, welches einen hohen Qualitätsstandard gewährleistet. 

Mit Hilfe des Befundes besprechen wir mit Ihnen, ob und in welcher Dosierung eine Zufuhr von EPA und DHA empfehlenswert wäre und wann eine Kontrollmessung sinnvoll wäre.

CITB SSSTS (Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme) 2 Day Course

Overview

This two day SSSTS training course is intended for those who have, or are about to acquire, supervisory responsibilities. Through completing the course supervisors will be provided with an ability to understand health, safety, welfare and environmental issues, as well as their legal responsibilities relevant to their work activities. It will highlight the requirement to promote health and safety to supervise effectively.

The SSSTS course is endorsed by the United Kingdom Contractors Group as the standard training for all supervisors working on BuildUK sites.

Delegates under the age of 18 must provide written consent from a parent or guardian to successfully attend.

Delegates who successfully complete the projects and assessment are awarded the CITB SSSTS - Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme certificate which is valid for 5 years.

Who Should Attend?

This course is aimed at first line managers, foreman, gangers, team leaders, supervisors and those who have, or are about to acquire supervisory responsibilities.

Pre Requisites

A good understanding of spoken and written English will be necessary in order to attend and complete the course successfully.

CITB SMSTS (Site Managers Safety Training Scheme) 5 Day Course - Day Release

Overview

This 5 day SMSTS Training course is designed for site managers, site agents and persons who are, or due to be, responsible for planning, organising, monitoring, controlling and administering groups of staff and a workforce. In order to obtain the qualification delegates MUST attend all days of their chosen course.

The SMSTS certificate is valid for 5 years, after which time candidates must sit the SMSTS Refresher course in order to renew their SMSTS certification

The SMSTS course covers all relevant legislation and other aspects which affect safe working in the building, construction and civil engineering industries. It highlights the need for risk assessment in the workplace, the implementation of the necessary control measures and adequate communication to sustain a health and safety culture among the workforce.

Delegates under the age of 18 must provide written consent from a parent or guardian to successfully attend.

At the end of the CITB SMSTS course delegates are required to sit an exam paper consisting of 25 questions, of which 5 are safety critical and require a short written answer.  Multiple choice questions are worth 1 point each and safety critical questions are worth 1-3 points each.   In order to pass the course delegates MUST answer ALL of safety critical questions correctly.  The SMSTS Course pass rate is 80% (28 out of 35)

Delegates must attend all 5 days, in accordance with the SMSTS course programme, to achieve the necessary learning objectives and qualify for the SMSTS certificate.

This certificate will expire after five years. In order to remain qualified certificate holders are required to sit the SMSTS two day refresher course to renew their qualification for a further five years.

Who Should Attend?

This 5 day course is intended for project managers, site managers and site supervisors as well as proprietors of small to medium sized companies. Client-based personnel would also benefit from attending the course.

Pre Requisites

A good understanding of spoken and written English will be necessary in order to attend and complete the course successfully.

CITB SSSTS Refresher 1 Day Course

Overview

This one day course is intended for those who currently hold the Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme certificate and now need to update their skills and knowledge in line with current legislation and maintain their SSSTS qualification.  This highly interactive course is delivered by means of case studies, classroom discussion, group work and individual / group presentations.

The SSSTS course is endorsed by the United Kingdom Contractors Group as the standard training for all supervisors working on UKCG sites.

Delegates under the age of 18 must provide written consent from a parent or guardian to successfully attend.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Any Delegate that does not attend prior to the end date of their certificate will risk their right to attend a refresher course and will be required to attend the full course.

Suggested Progression

The Suggested progression would be the five-day CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) training course.

Pre Requisites

Only those delegates who have passed the two day Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) course and can provide evidence of this are eligible to attend the one day refresher course. Delegates must have passed the full SSSTS course within five years of their refresher course start date to be eligible.

A good understanding of spoken and written English will be necessary in order to attend and complete the course successfully.

   When you come to a Sewing club session you could choose a project you'd like to work on or bring anything you've already had started and want to carry on. We will give you all the help and professional advice to develop your ideas and finish the project to a very good standard.

If you have some unusual project in mind, please contact Tanya for some advice prior to your lesson. 

   This course is designed for total beginners or those who have not done any sewing for years and would like to get back into it. 

Over a 5 week period all learners will refresh their existing skills as well as learn new techniques and have a lot of practice with professional advice and help at hand.

First we learn the basics, starting from how to use sewing machine, what are the different presser feet are for and practice doing different kind of stitches.
Then all students will complete up to three projects.
You will be able to choose from these:

To make a simple cushion cover with a zip.

To make a simple small bag.

To create a cushion with decorative details such as piping, appliqué, draping or frills.

To make a bigger bag with some more complicated design. (There are a few options to choose from)

To try patchwork, quilting and freehand embroidery.

You also will be welcome to pursue your own ideas, if you like. 

These projects will be demonstrated on a step by step basis so you can work at your own pace.

This course is a good foundation to provide students with the key skills and techniques to go into more complex sewing, dressmaking and tailoring projects.

Length: 15 hours over 5 weeks.
