It operated for 47 years until it closed in 1983. Then at 11pm on the 21st June 1992 a mysterious and suspicious fire ravaged through the iconic listed building leaving just the mutilated skeletal remains. ________________________________________________________________________ A cache of precious memorabilia including two solid gold "Oscars" and the original film reels from "Gone With The Wind" were lost forever… or were they?
