Our Kids Karate Class: 12 and Under is designed to introduce children to various martial arts techniques and principles in a fun and supportive environment. Our Kids Karate Class for children 10 and under is the perfect way to teach your child discipline, confidence, and respect while having fun. Our experienced instructors use engaging martial arts exercises that help in building strength, coordination, and flexibility. The Kids Karate Class: Aged 11 and above is a highly structured and disciplined program designed to introduce young students to the fundamentals of karate. Our experienced instructors teach not only basic techniques of karate, but also instill important life-skills such as self-discipline, focus, and respect. Your child will develop stronger self-awareness and confidence through active participation in an engaging and fun-filled atmosphere. Karate means “empty hand” in Japanese. It is a martial art that focuses on empty handed strikes, blocks and defense techniques. An ancient Japanese practice, karate was refined over thousands of years. East Asian immigrants imported it to the west in the 20th century. It found a home first on the west coast and then spread through the rest of the United States. Movie stars like Bruce Lee helped popularize the martial art and now, it’s become a staple of American culture.

With a thorough understanding of karate, students explore self-defense. They take control over their lives in every aspect. Karate teaches self-discipline and self-confidence just as much as it teaches strength, speed, agility and flexibility.

Boston Dojo Dojo refers to a martial arts school, and it translates to a place of learning. Over the past twenty-five years, the Boston Martial Arts Center has grown from a group of dedicated practitioners into a full-fledged dojo. Throughout that time, it has served as a conduit for studying martial arts in the Boston area. It is officially recognized as the Bujinkan Dojo Boston under the auspices of the International Bujinkan Organization (Tokyo headquarters) directed by Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi. T

Junior/Teens aged 5-17 Muay Thai Strength & Conditioning Circuit and Bagwork. Beginners are welcome to join this class. 

- Older and taller teens may be moved into an appropriate Adult class at the discretion of the instructor.
