Temple recommend interviews allow members to demonstrate that they have a testimony and are striving to obey God’s commandments and follow His prophets. Priesthood leaders also affirm, through the interview, that the member is worthy.We would invite you to prepare for the interview and attend dressed in the same clothes you would wear to the Temple, regardless of whether the interview is in person or virtual.

Living ordinance recommends are for members receiving their own endowment or being sealed to a spouse.The Stake President usually interviews members for a living ordinance recommend. 

This option should only be used by Executive Secretaries to arrange an interview for some who is unable to travel and doesn't have access to video call technology.Please confirm when the Stake Presidency member is planning to attend the Ward and then schedule the interview on that date in the usual way.

The secret to clothing that fits perfectly is measurements. I personally take the measurements of all my clients to ensure the right fit. Please ensure that you wear form fitting clothes and a bra that provides you with the best support to have your measurement taken.

When you invest in clothing, you are investing in your appearance. It is vital (for custom made clothing especially) that you do a fitting to ascertain if any nips or tucks are needed before your official debut.The body can be tricky at times and any weight loss or gain that occurs after taking your measurements will impact the final fit of the clothing. 

This is just in case the first fitting required extensive alterations, particularly in the case of fluctuating weight.

Donation pick-ups directly from the donor's location are currently scheduled twice a month on the second and fourth Wednesday's of the month. We have a limited number of pick-ups that we can schedule on any particular day - the number of which will fluctuate depending on the size and location of existing scheduled pick-ups. We may have to delay scheduling new pick-ups during periods when our Furniture Ministry warehouse is at full capacity.

This is our most flexible option for scheduling donations to our Furniture Ministry. If you have the ability to drop off your donation directly to our warehouse we are able to offer more flexible time options for that exchange. You will still need to contact our office to make sure that someone will be available to meet you at the warehouse at your preferred time, but we will do everything we can to accommodate you for a time that works for you.

Clients receiving furniture must pick up their furniture directly from our warehouse. At this time we DO NOT provide delivery service. Appointments are currently scheduled on the first and third Wednesdays of the month. Client appointments are LIMITED to ONE HOUR blocks of time. We must hold clients to those limits to allow the same opportunities to all of our Furniture Ministry clients in need.Clients must have a truck large enough to accommodate all of their furniture needs in one load and must have help with them to assist in loading their items onto the truck. Due to the necessary paperwork and inventory tracking of outgoing items, our warehouse staff is unable to assist in loading furniture items.Clients with open-ended trucks should also bring rope and tie-downs to secure any furniture loads before departing the warehouse. If rope is available at the warehouse, clients may make use of it provided that they make arrangements to return it to our office at Holy Angels church upon unloading their items. HOWEVER, DUE TO THE NUMBER OF CLIENT APPOINTMENTS ON ANY GIVEN DAY CATHOLIC CHARITIES CANNOT GUARANTEE THE AVAILABILITY OF ROPE OR TIE-DOWNS FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT. If you have it available, please bring it with you.Catholic Charities is not responsible for and cannot replace any items which are lost or damaged in transit due to client's failure to secure the load, nor is Catholic Charities responsible or liable for any traffic citations or other violations received by clients should their load spill onto the public roadway during transit.
