The General English A0-C1 program is designed to cater to students with varying proficiency levels in English. The program is structured with four essential components of the language - Vocabulary, Listening, Grammar, and Speaking Practice. The course starts with a 10-minute vocabulary session, followed by a 10-minute listening module. The next 15 minutes are dedicated to grammar, and the course ends with a 20-minute speaking practice module. CIS offers tutoring services to students in grades 5-12 in a small group setting through the on-campus Student Success Center. In addition to general academic support, students learn researched-based organizational and executive functioning skills. By participating in our small-group tutoring services, students will strengthen their connection to the material, the teacher, and each other. The SSC is open Monday-Thursay from 4:00-4:45.
