Lancelot Adrian Drummonds Jr. is an MBA student at Columbia Business School in New York, NY concentrating on marketing, strategy, and entertainment. Prior to business school, He worked in the pharmaceutical industry at Pfizer and Novo Nordisk in business development where he honed customer relation management, data analytics, and project management skills.
Parallel to his pharmaceutical career, Lance was an independent performing artist, performing original R&B soul songs throughout the U.S. and Canada at a number of globally recognized venues such as SOBs, CBGB’s, The Bitter End, and Met Life Stadium. This entertainment experience is a key driver of his pursuit of working in a space that merges entertainment, marketing, and strategy. His goal is to connect independent artists with corporate branding opportunities that help shape experiences for consumers, artists, and large corporations. With recent experience at Universal Music Group and Brands and at American Express, Lance’s key skill sets are qualitative research, consumer insights, artist brand development, and strategic partnerships between corporate organizations and the music industry.
A graduate of Wesleyan University, a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc and originally from Long Island New York, Lancelot is a lover of hiking, re-watching classic movies, and love. He and his wife, Dr. Linsey Nicole Edwards reside in Harlem, NY.
