A New Routine!

Katie was great! We worked to design a new warm up process and I think it will be suoer good for me. Katie has a lot of knowledge about resources to use for this and was just as lovely and cheery at lessons as on her vlog posts. I'm grateful to have spent some time with Katie and she was very helpful.

Fantastic Teacher!

Katie is very patient and detail oriented. Lessons are fun and judgement free, I feel comfortable asking any questions. Also, lessons are very easy to book around my schedule.

Katie Althen is an excellent instructor

I have been studying with Katie for a few months—she is an excellent instructor who gives clear, focused feedback; I feel that Katie evaluated my skill level very accurately, and has selected music that is challenging but within reach. I have learned a lot about how to structure my practice in between lessons, and how to listen more carefully so I can improve more quickly.

Quick and easy way to book a service

simplybookme is a fine service: the customer interface is easy to use, the booking and payment processes are straightforward, and an invoice is sent to your email afterwards. Also, their emailed reminders of upcoming events is very helpful.

Great lesson option.

So glad that it is possible to easily schedule a lesson with teachers who would otherwise be inaccessible due to distance, etc. Katie Althen is a superb instructor - quite knowledgeable and a great communicator. Very pleased to be able to study with her through this option.
