The owner of MedConsult, Dr. Donna Robinson, is an English-trained and -experienced doctor practicing in Thailand with the Thai Medical License. Requiring fluency in Thai language and a medical exam in written Thai, Dr Donna one of the select few western doctors legally practicing in Thailand. She is able to offer our clients premier medical care without some of the communication problems that are common in other clinics. Dr Donna also practices as a Consultant Doctor at Bumrungrad Hospital and thus has excellent relationships with the leading Thai medical and surgical specialists. As well as responding to your medical needs at our clinic in the Sukhumvit area of Central Bangkok, Dr Donna will also visit patients at their homes, in their offices or at their hotels.

Standard Covid-19 RT-PCR Test
Price: 1,000 THB
Gold standard test, suitable for all forms of travel, accepted in most countries. It is a nasal swab taken gently, is child-friendly, and the specimen is sent to our lab for analysis.
The test result and fit to fly certificate will be emailed as a soft copy (stamped and signed) by the times specified on our Covid-19 Testing page. We ONLY accept payment at the clinic, not in advance. We accept cash, credit card or bank transfers.
You don’t have to book, we accept unlimited walk-ins everyday. Just be sure to come before 10am if you need your result back the same day.
Testing from 7am-10am = Result available 5pm (same day)
Testing from 10am-2pm = Result available 11pm (same day)
Testing from 2pm-7pm = Result available 2am

Express RT-PCR Booking
Price: 1,500 THB
This is the express service test which gets you the results within 5 hours no matter what time you arrive for your test. For example if you arrive at 11am you will get your result by 4pm on the same day. Our standard RT-PCR test can be booked for only 1000 baht and if you test before 10am the results are still available on the same day at 5pm. The express service benefits people who want to guarantee a 6 hour turnaround and mostly used for people who cannot arrive before 10am and benefit from the standard RT-PCR.

Blood sample taken from vein in your arm, or finger, and sent to a lab for analysis. Useful if you have previously tested positive for Covid-19 infection and want to know if you still have detectable antibodies. Or if you have never been tested for Covid-19 and want to know if you have been previously infected. Antibodies may also be present due to vaccination, but it does not indicate the level of immunity. It also does not detect current Covid-19 infection. For this reason, wait 14 days after exposure to use this Antibody test.
Antibodies are proteins created by your immune system that help you fight off infections. They are made during the recovery process from an infection. Your body produces antibodies when you get an infection. If you have COVID-19 antibodies in your blood, it's likely you've had the virus before.
