Welcome to Mount Pleasant Church Indy Pastoral Guidance booking site!Our dream is to see our local community loving, following, and serving Jesus. We intentionally seek to make disciples for Christ. Our church is a fellowship of believers who learn, share, grow, praise, pray, welcomes, and encourages one another weekly. We are guided by faith, care, love, family, and kindness.
For the members of the church, we offer pastoral guidance services conducted by our senior pastor, Dr. Michael S. Johnson.
We are here to listen, reflect biblically, pray, and encourage you in your walk with Christ.

Dr. Michael S. Johnson
I have over 20 years of ministerial experience with 11 as a senior pastor. I have served congregations in Richmond, Virginia, and Indianapolis, Indiana. My expertise is in congregational leadership and development and I have graciously been gifted by God with wisdom, a strong knowledge of the Bible and Christian doctrine, and the ability to teach. God has also afforded me the opportunity to earn a vast amount of education.

Premarital Preparation
Premarital preparation sessions seek to help couples understand the demands and responsibilities of marriage. Certain assessments may be given at cost to the couple. Premarital preparation is designed to be five sessions. The first session is an introduction (getting to know you). Couples will select the topics to be explored over the next four sessions. In the last session, we will also finalize details about the wedding day. It is strongly recommended that couples plan the first session a minimum of 15 weeks before their wedding date with two week intervals between subsequent sessions. Prior approval is needed for booking less than 15 weeks from the wedding date. To get preapproval, contact the church office at (317) 291-6655.
