Capt. Leon Hampton was born and raised in Florida. If he isn't on the water, he is in the woods. After spending years on the water he decided he wanted to become a captain. In 2014, Capt. Leon took that road on becoming a fishing guide. He is so passionate about what he does. His main goal is to introduce people to his world and teach them all the things he knows. Capt. Leon is very knowledgeable of his surroundings. There are two things that makes his trip even more special to him - Veterans and children. He is a firm believer in getting children outside and showing them what nature has to offer. As for Veterans, he feels giving back to them is what they need after they have given a lot for our country.

Carter grew up fishing the Crystal River waterways, he knows how to navigate the waters better than the fish themselves. As a multiple tournament winner, his enthusiasm and dedication to the sport of fishing is unmatched. Enjoy backcountry fishing at its finest in the channels and on the flats of the expansive waters that surround Crystal River. We use light tackle to catch a variety of species, including but not limited to; Redfish, Trout, Snook, Sheepshead, and Tripletail. Sit back and enjoy a full guided tour, included with all necessary fishing equipment you’ll need; tackle, bait, license, and a fish cleaning service. Not only will you experience what it’s like to fish in the beautiful waters of Crystal River, you get to take your catch back to eat. Whether you’re an experienced fisherman or a first-timer, Captain Carter will show you a great day on the water, with memories to last a lifetime!
