Welcome to Soldiers Rd booking website: Portrait sittings are allocated in 30 minute slots. Please ensure that you consult the dates provided in the booking process for your desired venue. These 30 minute slots allow for groups of up to 5 persons. If your group is between 6-10 persons, please book your group for two consecutive booking slots at your desired venue.*Please be aware that when working with children we may run overtime- we appreciate your patience and ensure your booking will get the same positive energy and attention. Please check with all whanau members that you are not double booking your portrait group. Please ensure you enter your email address correctly at the time of your booking as you will receive a confirmation email. There is a max of 2 consecutive sitting slots per group. Booking more than this may result in your bookings being nullified. If you have a sitting group of 11 or more, please contact us at soldiersroad@gmail.com Please turn up for your booking, or if you are unable to attend please cancel it so that some one else may take your spot. Booking fees are non-refundable if booking is cancelled within 48 hours of your allocated time slot.** Please feel free to bring your own korowai/taonga or kakahu from other cultures which we would be happy to incorporate into your portrait. Prices:Portraits are priced per head per portrait arrangement- Individual portrait of one person, regardless of age: $100 Group portrait of 2 or more people: Adult $80, child 10yrs and under $50If only children in the portrait, the first child will be $80 and subsequent children will be $50 each.*In order to secure your booking, a $60 booking fee will be required at the time of booking. For ONLY Auckland-Hillsborough and Cambridge studio days this will come off the cost of your portraits. For ALL OTHER studio days this will be additional to the cost of your portraits, and will contribute to all travel and studio hire fees which enable us to come to you. As of 30th May 2019 GST will be additional to the above prices for all New Zealand dates. **Portraits are emailed out to you as a high resolution file in our signature vintage style which you can reprint as many times as you like at no extra cost.If you would like your colour versions as well there is an additional cost and must be arranged on the day. Empowering!

Ngā mihi nuuuui kōrua! As a plus size māmā, I was a little apprehensive about what I would wear and how I would look for the photoshoot, but you worked wonders! In addition to that, the patience and care you had with my tamariki; one who wanted to try on everything and another who didnt want to wear anything! Thank you both so much!!!

Awesome experience working with these two for our whanau with 3 tamariki under 5. Had a lovely morning and the korero was just flowing the whole time. Loved the incorporation of whakawhanaungatanga and extra thoughtful little touches they add. Their work speaks for itself really and we highly reccomend

Loved our experience with Soldiers Road. From the beginning we were made to feel welcome and comfortable. They got right into it, make up and kakahu, they know rheir stuff. Very calm, gentle and polite. Great experience and i highly frccomend to all my friends and whanau who have never been before

Amazing experience

Amazing service to get photo of our 3 generations (with 2 yr old)

Amazing service from these 2 beautiful wahine. It was a dream of ours to get a photo of my mum, myself and my now 2 year old. They went above and beyond with my grumpy daughter who was tired and upset. We really appreciate the aroha and manaaki. Nga mihi

Whanau portrait 2 April 2021

Wow describes my unforgettable experience with the talented wahine Vienna and Taaniko so welcoming humble and down to earth passionate about what they do, connecting with us before the portrait says it all. Been a fan from the start of their journey and finally blessed by them to make memories for my tamariki and first moko due this year cant wait to have a 5th generation pic in the future from them.

Awesome experience

Taaniko and Vienna are amazing at what they do. I had an apprehensive 4 year old who was all smiles at the end of the session. These wāhine made us feel welcome and relaxed and made the whole experience really enjoyable. What an excellent way to affirm our Māoritanga and create memories!

Wonderful experience!

Booked in for a portrait for our 3 children. Was a joy watching them take everything in and go through the process. It felt like so much more than just getting a photo taken. I felt like I gained some knowledge about my partner and children I didn't fully comprehend before. Was awesome and the kids have been asking me to rebook as they want to do it again.

True experience ❣

I have followed your work for atleast 18 months.. finally I thought 'bugger it I'm booking!' So pleased I did. My partner, kids and I were made to feel so special and beautiful in all the taonga. The ladies are so friendly and attentive and we cannot wait to have our portraits up in our whare. Thank you so much for sharing your creativity and skill with us xxxx

I am absolutely stoked with the pictures, but it was also beautiful to meet Vienna & Taaniko. I really appreciate their commitment to whakawhanaungatanga and the opportunity to share our whakapapa before we began. He kaupapa Māori tēnā. Tino pai ki te tūtaki ki a kōrua!!
