Thank you for your interest in participating, we are investigating how repeated smell exposure and associative learning may influence memory and learning over time.Participants will take part in a 12-week study involving several laboratory sessions alongside short at-home smell-training activities. During the study, participants will complete computer-based learning tasks involving different odors and memory exercises.The research aims to improve our understanding of how smell and learning interact, and how these processes may change across time and ageing.Participation is voluntary, and all study procedures will be fully explained before taking part.Please select an available appointment slot below.You will receive confirmation and further study information by email after booking.If you have any questions, contact: gwd25uvu@uea.ac.uk团队组成

During this session, participants will receive an overview of the study and provide informed consent. Eligibility screening and brief smell checks will be completed, and participants will be introduced to the study odours and home-training procedures

SESSION 1: Baseline Testing

Participants will complete the main smell-learning task for the first time, alongside baseline memory and olfactory assessments. The session includes repeated odour-response learning blocks designed to measure associative learning and reaction time.

This session assesses early retention and reinforcement of the learned odour associations. Participants will repeat the smell-learning task and review progress with the home smell-training component.

Participants will complete a midpoint follow-up session to reinforce learning and assess ongoing performance. The session includes additional learning and memory tasks, alongside a brief review of home-training adherence.
