Experience the perfect balance between effort and ease as you explore various poses and improve your flexibility. After the session, enjoy a complimentary drink of your choice tp continue your exploration of The Wondering Tortoise's offerings. 

A workshop to give you the tools you need to develop your strength and balance for arm balances, as well as tools to help you overcome any fears you may have! We will start with a gentle flow and then work our way into a mobility sequence for our upper body and fire up our core before going into some fun arm balances. Suitable for all levels.

This class moves you through 26 traditional poses, with long holds, rather than flowing from pose to pose with the breath.  It is a full body sequence of postures for beginners to advanced practitioners. Postures promote strength and flexibility while fostering deeper levels of concentration.  Room will be warm.

Body Tune up uses The Roll Model Method which is a soft-tissue conditioning, self-care fitness format that uses the various Roll Model® Therapy Balls for self-myofascial release (self-massage). This may include breath work, CheckIn and ReCheck, elements of alignment, anatomy instruction and mental awareness (such as conscious relaxation).

Young kids cultivate body awareness in a playful and engaging way...
