In this workshop, we’ll take a dive into prompt-based movement to add new and exciting discoveries to our pole lexicon! Can you take an arm off here? Can you use your foot there? Do you know where this trick can go next? This workshop takes an exploratory approach to learning to guide students to new entries, exits and shapes from a variety of fundamental pole skills.This iteration of EP&S will take place on the lower half of your pole, head height and below! This workshop will be guided by cues and examples, and is suitable for anyone confident in their pole sits and knee holds (e.g. genie or gemini). We will be working primarily in some form of contact with the ground, with some low aerial options. Are you lacking stability, finding unwanted rotation, or having any other sticking points? This one's for you! In this workshop we will work on the foundations of true and twisted grip Ayesha, with focus on technique, and progressions for stability and balance. We will also be working on handspring prep (or deadlift prep for more advanced students) and floor variations in this 75 minute workshop.
