Field Trips Experience: Minimum of 10, max of 50.1.5 to 2 Hours$3.00 per student.  No charge for adults assisting.Please provide 1 adults per 10 students. The bus will arrive and our Golden Spike Tower host will greet the bus and assist with unloading to a designated outdoor area, where we will all gather for a photo and directions.  Photos are private, not on social media, but a copy is provided to each child at the end as a reminder of their visit.  We will divide the large group into 3 or 4 smaller groups of 8 to 12 kids (please let us know if you have a specific way you prefer them to be broken up into groups otherwise we will use our method).  Smaller groups will each have a guide or two to direct them to different station of crafts, education and activities.  We will ask that one of your adults remains with a group at all time.  Groups will be directed through specific paths via stairs, elevator and outside to our three different public floors, including an outside balcony (safe and with railing) and our enclosed 8th floor: 104 feet in the air.  Activities & education are specifically selected for your group to ensure they are age appropriate.  Kids will learn how Bailey Yard operates, have train safety training, learn about rail cars, and participate in hands on activities.  Rest rooms are located on the first floor only.  A rest room break and outdoor playtime is provided for the last 10 minutes or so of the tour.  If a child does need a rest room break, we would ask your staff (adult helpers) excuse them and take them, so our staff can continue with the lesson.

Tour & Lunch (per person)1.5-2 HoursAll "Tour & A Lunch" options include your choice of guided or self-guided tour, facility rental fees, meals, and taxes.  The Golden Spike Tower utilizes locally owned and operated restaurants and caterers for all our events. Lunch may be served Boxed or Buffet style.  Prices are valid through 12.31.25. When your bus arrives, it is welcomed with a complimentary group photo and FREE print for each of your guests. Groups are then divided into smaller groups of no more than 20 and are moved from station to station with our tour guides, former Bailey Yard workers. Stations may include our 7th floor viewing deck, 8th floor observation area, Hall of Fame, Flag Walk and North Platte Canteen.  Stations are selected based on time availability and weather.  Your group is then directed to a food line, with your choice of prepared boxed lunches or buffet style.  The guests may enjoy their meal throughout the tour, as they deem fit.  In our beautiful outdoor courtyard, under the shade of the brick pavilion in our courtyard, the 8th floor tables, 7th floor picnic table; allowing the most flexibility for your group. Non-private rentalOptional: Lunch may be served prior to tour or after tour, depending on time. Custom option includes multiple meal choices for your tour group or a completely unique menu.  Please include in the notes your requests. A minimum of each meal may be required as different options use different caterers.

If you would like to come and try product please choose this option, we ask that you come alone as we can only accommodate 2 customers in the store at any one time during this current time. please use the hand sanitiser provided as you enter the shop and wear a facemask if you feel necessary.  All of our instruments are cleaned thoroughly with Medical grade surface cleaner after anyone has played them.

If you have setup / repair work to be undertaken please choose this option.  We ask that you clean your instrument prior to bringing it to us and remove the strings if they are tarnished. we are sorry that on occasion we may refuse to take in an instrument if deemed too dirty for our staff to handle. Please be prepared to leave your instrument with us.

Before proceeding, please ensure you have selected the correct date, time and amount of people who will come.- A Paint Your Own Pottery session at The Hive lasts for 2 hours. - You will receive instruction, supplies and design support when you arrive. - The £5 covers your Studio Fee and is required for all those attending, even if you are not painting.- The Studio Fee is non-refundable, but can be moved to another day if at least 24 hours notice is given.- You will choose the pottery you would like to paint on the day, and pay for this at the end of the session. - Pottery will be fired and available to collect within 2-3 weeks.- If you have further questions please check the FAQ on our website.- ALLERGEN NOTICE: We sometimes have a cat in the studio - please contact us if you have a severe allergy or aversion.
