This is where we define the vision and plan how to execute it. We cover:– Use case of the video (showreel, audition, release, etc.)– Intention of the piece (genre, atmosphere, style)– Backdrop, lighting palette, wardrobe and makeup– Camera approach, lens choices– Microphone and preamp choicesThis is where everything comes together—your performance, your sound, and the visual language—so the final piece feels intentional, cohesive - artistic.You’ll receive a Google Drive link to upload your tracks, references, and anything else relevant to the shoot.SESSION PREPYour focus is simple: rehearse and refine your performance so you're ready to deliver on the day!THE SESSION When you arrive at our Putney Bridge studio, everything will be ready and the kettle will be on! We ease in, play some warm up games, and run through notes. Some artists want more direction, others less—either way, we adapt and guide where needed.SETUP We begin in the live room with a test audio take to dial in mic placement and preamp settings that best suit your voice. Your headphone mix is balanced so what you hear feels right—this makes a real difference to performance.Once the sound is locked, we move to camera. Lighting is shaped and colour balanced to complement your skin tone and the desired look. We capture an initial take, review it on a large monitor, and marvel at how fabulous it all looks and sounds!After notes and final adjustments to lighting and camera, we’re ready to roll!RECORDINGWe allow 2 hours per song, so there’s time to get it right. We typically record 3 - 5 takes of your performance. If more are needed, that's cool—there’s no rush.Your performance is the birth of the piece, and our favoirite bit of the job—being in the room and making a moment of emotional meaning. We create an environment in which you are free explore, express and channel magic. REVIEWOnce you’ve done your takes, we sit together in the control room and review the footage and audio.We select a master take—the performance that expresses the most—from which we'll later build a comp, adding parts of other takes, to support the intention of the master take. THAT'S A WRAP!Your part is done. You’ve prepared, performed, and delivered! From here, we take over—handling post-production and shaping the final piece.POST-PRODUCTIONTHE AUDIO EDITWe build your vocal comp with precision and restraint—preserving naturalism and and the emotional arc  the performance. We don't use autotune and avoid anything digital in the chain. Your vocal is then processed through our analogue outboard chain, sculpting the signal through high-end circuitry before capturing it back through premium converters.We process your vocal and backing track together so they sit naturally, as if recorded in the same space at the same time and feel like a single, unified performance.The final track is mastered for clarity, depth, and level, without sacrificing dynamics.THE VIDEO EDITYour video is edited in our Fulham studio using DaVinci Resolve and Dehancer Pro film emulation.We really care about our images. Chaque dimanche pendant la saison d'hiver, découvrez un des beaux sommets de la région en raquettes à neige ! Partez à la journée en randonnée raquette avec un professionnel pour atteindre les plus beaux panoramas du Pays du Mont Blanc.
