How does it work and what effects does it have?

Acupuncture stimulates the body to heal itself. Research has shown pain relief correlates to increased endorphins in cerebrospinal fluid – showing that the body has manufactured its own ‘opiates’ for pain relief and healing. There may be changes in temperature and muscle tone. Generally there is a ‘normalising’ effect so that if a person is tense they will relax and a person who is lethargic will feel more energised.

Many people can reduce or stop their pain medications as symptoms resolve.

Acupuncture heals anyone, including  animals. The million dollar race horses have acupuncture as they heal faster, without drugs ( and side effects) and they love it. 

Who would benefit?

Just about anyone will feel better after acupuncture. Some people like to use it for relaxation and general well being.

Acupuncture has been used to turn breech babies and for those Mums who are overdue it may be used to bring on labour and thus avoid 'the 'drip'

Is it safe?

Lesley uses the finest Japanese needles. They are sterile and single use only. Many people are surprised at how pleasant it is. Most of the time needle insertion is painless. 

Our Emotion Code service offers a powerful and effective way to release trapped emotions that may be causing physical and emotional pain. Using muscle testing, we can identify and release negative energies from past events that are holding you back from living your best life. This safe and gentle energy healing technique can be done in person, by telephone or email via proxy, allowing you to access healing from anywhere.  Session fee is CA$100 per session (60-90 minutes) or CA$250 for 3 sessions.

In these sessions, we evaluate the action of the remedies, work with beliefs or strong emotions that are still stuck, and plan the next course of action. Follow-ups can be done weekly to keep your process moving in a strong forward direction, however often we do not give a remedy every session.
