The Gillespie Center is a food Pantry powered by Homes with Hope right here in Westport CT. The Gillespie Center provides food services to our residential clients, those at risk of homelessness, and those in need in the community. On Mitzvah Day, you and your family will make Latkes in the commercial kitchen @ Chabad and distribute them at the Gillespie Center. 

Eishet Chayal is an organization run by women, supporting the women and children of Israeli soldiers on active duty. Every Friday over 1,000 care packages are sent out to women across all of Israel, from North to South, giving a figurative hug, and making them feel like they are not alone. Packages include beauty products, home baked goods, toys for their kids, cards, and a lot more. On Mitzvah Day, we will make beautiful care packages for the wives of soldiers, and gift packages for their children. Please keep your eye out for an email describing things to bring in to donate towards the packages. 

The Mission of the Friendship Circle is to bridge the gap between special needs and typical youth through shared experience, empower special needs youth with the skills they need to live a productive and independent adult life, give parents and families much-needed respite, and nurture a sense of awareness and communal responsibility in our teens.On Mitzvah Day, your family will learn about the power of Friendship Circle, donate specific items, and pack gifts to be delivered to special needs children in Fairfield County. Once you sign up, you will receive an email with more details on what to bring with you.
