This study is part of a Postgraduate and aims to test the use of cognitive simulation and neurofeedback training in retaining motor skills faster as well a possible integration of these techniques into surgical training.Both UCD & RCSI students are welcome to join. In order to accommodate the students schedules and rotations this will be a multi-center study: MMUH, RCSI, UCD & Beacon Hospital The data collection will take 4-6 months. The steps will be:1.Verbal consent and description of the study over the phone 2.Participant information leaflet emailed3.Randomization into one of the 5 groups4.Appointment scheduled for workshop5.Informed consent on arrival6.NASA TLX questionnaire7.Suturing & Laparoscopic workshop8.Depending on which group you are in: Cognitive simulation and/or Neurofeedback training9.Quick suturing test10.2-4 weeks later: 2nd suturing test.Workshop: in person, 1h30-2hCognitive simulation training: 2 weeks, through an app (free and anonymous!) Neurofeedback training: in person, 1h30-2h
