Hello my name is Lynley Le Pine, I am a professional counsellor and have been working in this area for a couple of decades. I live with my partner and have two adult children. My experience in the helping profession and through lived experience has led me to ask the question, “Who helps the helper”?You spend your days listening, holding, containing and responding. But where do you go when you need to feel heard, without being analysed, assessed or diagnosed? Over years ofworking in the therapeutic space, I have witnessed firsthand how often the helpers own inner world goes unspoken, held back for the sake of clients, for professionalism, or simply because there’s no safe space to let it land.Help the Helper is a confidential, reflective, non-clinical space designed just for therapists, counsellors and helpers. This is not supervision. It’s not therapy. It’s a calm, confidential space to unpack, reset and breathe. Help the helper was born out of this quiet gap, a need for something between supervision and therapy. A space that doesn’t require you to perform, prove or explain, just to arrive, breathe and be met as you are.My approach is gentle, boundaried , compassionate and deeply respectful. I offer a reflective, emotionally attuned space for therapists, counsellors and those in the helping professions to pause, process, and feel heard. In these moments, you can:- Reflect on the emotional impact of your work- Reflect on your personal life- Prevent burnout by staying connected to meaning- A safe space to reflect and say whatever you want to say, remembering that this is not supervision or counsellingYou hold others.
