We are a small and well established practice in the heart of the Golden Triangle, on Christchurch Road. The practice is run by husband and wife team Laurent Reynolds and Lisa Richter.IMPORTANT CHANGES TO PRACTICE RE: COVID-19To ensure that all our patients and practitioners remain as safe as possible during the Coronavirus outbreak we have taken some extra health and safety measures.We will be wearing PPE (face mask/visor/nitrile gloves/apron) The apron and gloves will be changed between each patient. The nitrile gloves are latex free and hypoallergenic.All surfaces that a patient may come into contact with whilst on the premises will have been disinfected between treatments. Ample time (15-30 mins) will be allowed to clean between patients.Hand sanitiser will be available in both the waiting room and treatment room.Warmed fresh air ventilation will be provided in the treatment room.PRE-SCREENING BEFORE YOUR VISITTo maintain the highest levels of hygiene within the clinic and to minimise the risk of infection, we have some essential pre-appointment screening questions that we must go through now before you come to your upcoming appointment. This triaging is vital, so please read all the information below carefully.We now screen everyone before they come to the clinic for a potential Covid-19 infection. So please ask yourself these questions; – Have you been in close contact with anyone who’s been diagnosed with Covid-19 infection?– Have you been in close contact with anyone exhibiting symptoms of Covid-19 infection?– Do you have a high temperature (over 37.8*c)?– Do you have a new, continuous cough?– Do you have any fatigue or malaise?– Do you have any nausea, vomiting or diarrhoea?_ Have you recently experienced any change to or loss of your sense of taste or smell?If you answer YES to any of these then we suggest you visit the NHS online service for Covid-19 (https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/check-if-you-have-coronavirus-symptoms/ ). We will also unfortunately have to reschedule your appointment, so please kindly contact us asap to do this. We also need to ask if you are in the ‘high risk’ group?; Do you fall into any of these categories?– Did you receive a letter from the NHS asking you to ‘shield’?– Have you had an organ transplant?– Are you undergoing cancer treatment?– Do you have a severe respiratory condition?– Is your immune system compromised in any other way? If you answer YES to any of these then the previous NHS advice was to stay at home and ‘shield’. Those who were shielding can now be treated by us. But those individuals are more vulnerable and so if you want to discuss your specific situation in advance then please call us. If after going through the questions above, you;– Pass the Covid-19 screening,– Feel your symptoms need treatment from a health professional such as ourselves,then we will be happy to see you for the appointment.
