The purpose of this visit is to give our teachers and your child the opportunity to meet with one another and spend time together.  This will allow the teacher to see if the child can separate from the parent/guardian, listen, follow directions, and to see if your child demonstrates a curiosity towards the lessons and classroom in general.Following the CDC and KMS COVID-19 guidelines, all adults and children should be wearing a well fitted mask while on the school campus.  We ask you to please check your child’s general wellness prior the visit, observing for any cold symptoms, temperature above 100 or higher, etc. to ensure the health of everyone involved.  During the visit, Parents can remain in their vehicles or in the front garden.Here is a brief outline of what will happen while you are here:         When you arrive, you will be greeted by a staff member at the front door.         The teacher will invite @@@@ to go with them into a classroom for approximately 15 minutes.         After the interview, you will have a chance to talk briefly with the teacher about what your child did.          We will let you know within a week after the interview if we can offer your child a space.  We will wait to assign children to one of our two Primary classes until late in the summer. That way we can arrange the best mix of ages, genders, ethnicity, etc. in each class. We can schedule a visit later in the month if this day does not work out for you but know that spaces in the classrooms will fill quickly. Please let me know if you have questions about the interview.
