About the company
Located in the beautiful mountains of Botetourt and Roanoke Counties, Carvins Cove Natural Reserve is the second largest municipal park in the United Sates. This 12,700 acre park's watershed and reservoir supply drinking water for the majority of the Roanoke Valley. Low impact recreational activities such as hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, fishing, boating, paddleboarding and picnics are permitted in the Natural Reserve. There is one picnic shelter available for daily rental for small events (50 attendees or less).
