This means providing formulas in addition to explaining the reasoning behind them. A student can be taught to solve an equation, but we seek to develop the critical thinking skills which allow students to devise their own equations. We celebrate student's victories and treat mistakes as learning experiences, utilising their past errors to prevent future ones.
