During this day we will revive your stacks and movement; polish your handling skills; recap exercises to build peak condition in your dogs and much more.

Please bring a packed lunch with you, hot drinks will be provided, there is hot water for pot noodles etc.

- leave it/ wait - the difference between the two and why it's important

- settle work - important pub/ café training! 

- send to bed  

- Confidence and resilience building e.g. new surfaces, new smells, sights and sounds

- basic first aid check and grooming tips

Follow on course from puppy class. 6 week course Weds 7-8pm. Held at our Red Hall farm venue. 

We build on the foundations taught in puppy class and in this class we are working towards a puppy that can focus both on and off lead. We are teaching our puppies that the more they listen, the more freedom they can have.

We practise both on and off lead with a variety of real world distractions so that our puppies are prepared for the real world. 

In this course we cover

- loose lead walking with object e.g. bags, trays and trolleys

- heelwork increasing distance and around distractions

- Toy steadiness so your pup doesn't steal other dogs balls

- leave it/ wait - generalising that leave it to mean anything from food to other dogs

- recall - away from other dogs

- sit -stays - increasing distance and duration while there are real world distractions

- settle work - building duration and distractions

- send to bed  

- basic first aid check and grooming tips

- table confidence for small dogs that will be on a table at the vets

We are now working our dogs more and more off lead. This course takes our puppies to the next level of their training.  We will be training inside and outside in a variety of different locations (where weather permits).

This course is suitable for dogs over 8 months that need help taking their training to the next level.  This course helps you take the first step towards a dog you can have off lead. 

This course covers

- Manners when meeting and greeting

- Tennis ball games

- Steadiness training (impulse control)

- Basic first aid checks

- Engagement activities

- Introduction to dog sports such as scentwork, rally, hoopers and agility. 

6 week course. Friday 6-7pm at Red Hall Farm

This course is suitable for dogs over 8 months that need help taking their training to the next level. This course covers fundamental obedience and is suitable for you if your dog cannot sit-stay more than 30s at 3m distance, cannot recall when there are dog distractions, pulls on the lead, lacks engagement. This course helps you take the first step towards a dog you can have off lead.

6 week course. Friday 7-8pm at Red Hall Farm

This course is suitable for dogs over 8 months and is the follow on course to the Level 1 dog training. This course is for dogs that are beginning to work off lead around other dogs and now need to train around other dogs and distractions to ensure off lead reliability. Exercises will be completed on and off lead both inside and outside (weather dependent), to ensure behaviours are practised in a variety of real life scenarios 

This course covers

- intermediate loose lead walking - walking with distractions such as bags, buggies and trays

- sit-stays  - building up to 3 minutes off lead sit-stays 

- settle work - settling while distractions are happening

- send to bed - increasing distance and duration

- Intermediate Leave it vs. wait

- drop - generalising drop with different items 

- Manners when meeting and greeting - both on and off lead

- Intermediate Tennis ball games (other options for dogs not interested in tennis balls)

- Steadiness training (impulse control)

- Basic first aid checks

- Engagement activities

- Confidence and resilience building 

Would you like to achieve an obedience qualification with your dog? 

This 8 week course prepares you for your Bronze exam. At the end of the course if you are ready for your exam you instructor will invite you to book a date with our examiner 

The Kennel Club Good Citizens scheme enables you to work through the levels from Bronze to Gold, This also allows you to enter additional classes at dog shows, if you show you dogs.

This course is the follow on course from the hoopers beginners course. Perfect if you have started hoopers and would like to continue with your dog.

A correct start to agility is so important, whether you are looking to do agility for fun, or ultimately for competition.

Correct foundations can reduce the risk of injury and increase your dog's confidence and competence while undertaking the different agility obstacles.

This course is suitable for any dogs over 4 months old.

The course covers

- teaching your dog to work and building drive

- body awareness- important for contacts and wing wraps-

- pace, acceleration & deceleration

- tunnel work - confidence, sending from each end and tunnels

- wing wraps and back side of jump

- impulse control e.g. waits etc

6 week course 7-8pm. This is the follow on course for dogs that have completed the beginners course. In this course we continue to improve your dogs hoopers skills including

- forwards drive

All welcome from puppies to veterans, from complete novices to experienced handlers. 

This pay monthly club is hosted in a large, heated hall. 

This fortnightly course runs from 10:30-12:30pm and runs for 3x 2h sessions. 

This course is suitable for puppies though to veterans. In this training series we cover and practise handling, canine fitness, movement and showing as well as covering tips and tricks to take you to that next level

ONLY FOR MEMBERS!  Depending on your membership you will be able to book 4 or 8 of these sessions monthly. 

Please remember: 

1) This is a training field, not a secure field you must have your dog/s under control at all times, dogs can potentially jump the fences, duck under the gateway. All dogs on the field must have third party public liability

2) Equipment breaks, any broken equipment needs to be placed down the side of the container (between container and fence) and must not be removed from that area except by staff. 

3) Hoop pegs are grouped into sets of 10, please ensure you count the pegs you use in and out.
