About the company
UMBC students who have questions about managing your food allergies, intolerances, and/or sensitivities on campus, or want to learn about healthy eating on campus, can meet with our on-campus Registered Dietitian (*faculty and staff please email Adam directly for appointments umbcrd@umbc.edu). The on-campus dietitian is also available for: Dining hall tours Career advice Group and class presentations (please email Adam separately for group/class presentation requests) *LOCATION INFORMATION*Nutrition counseling services are held at University Health Services, at Erickson Hall. *If you need to reach the dietitian on the day of your appointment, please contact UHS (410)455-2542.* Dining hall tours are held at True Grits.Career advice appointments are held at the Main Office Buildings of True Grits (left entrance, not main entrance).*APPOINTMENT INFORMATION*The on-campus dietitian is your go-to food and nutrition expert to discuss healthy eating on campus. He can also discuss: Food allergies, intolerances, and sensitivities Weight managementGI disordersSports NutritionVegan and vegetarian dietOther special dietary needsAppointments can be made up to one month in advance but must be scheduled at least 24 hours prior to the desired time slot. Initial sessions are generally up to 30-50 minutes, with follow-up sessions lasting up to 30 minutes. *Failing to check in within 10 minutes of an appointment will result in a cancellation.**NEW POLICY NOTICE*: While Nutrition Counseling services are a free service for members of the UMBC community, a new No-Show/Cancellation Policy will be in effect beginning April 15th. Clients who do not check-in to their appointment within the 10-minute grace period, or cancel in less than 24 hours from their appointment time, will be charged a $25 fee.Our team

Initial sessions last up to 50 minutes and are held at Center for Wellbeing. My office is located on the second floor. Be sure to sign in at the front desk.
Follow-Up Nutrition Counseling Appointment
30 min
Follow-up sessions last up to 30 minutes and are held at University Health Services, located on the ground floor of Erickson Hall. Students must have completed an initial appointment prior to scheduling a follow-up session.
