Hatha yoga class will concentrates on physical health and mental well-being. Hatha yoga uses asana -bodily postures, pranayama -breathing techniques and  dyana meditation techniques with the goal of bringing a healthy body and a clear, peaceful mind.

Azie’s yoga journey began relatively late at 40 but soon found it made her feel 20. Since completing her RYT200, Azie’s been sharing her infectious age-defying energy teaching Hatha classes, which she likes to keep light-hearted.

This class focuses on enhancing the range of motion of your joint systems through slow, deep-released yoga movements and deep breathing. In each soft yoga transitions we will work on increasing blood flow to specific areas of the body, which helps to improve your flexibility, posture and balance. For my active clients looking to improve their performance, lessen their chance of injury and create more balanced muscles.  Get ready to be challenged throughout class and expect to feel your muscles quiver and shake. Clients that know how to work their abdominals and do not have any active pain. Expect some foam rolling for your IT band, piriformis, and quadriceps.  May include jump boarding.  Class alternates between reformer, chair, and tower.

We'll use props like magic circle and bands to get you moving!A deliberate paced class that will concentrate on breath in order to find those deep stabilizer muscles.  This class is a total body workout! Let's work on strengthening your hips and back.  A great Pilates mix of exercises and breath work that mind and body will enjoy.  

The focus is on strengthening and stretching hips, glutes and spine. This class is for individuals looking to keep their backs strong and have specific limitations.  Stay tuned for a lot of stretching exercises.  Sometimes tight muscles are  very difficult to access. New habits can take a while to develop.
