About the company
Welcome to Agritourism Battambang!We offer unique tours into the heart of the Cambodian countryside, introducing you to local farmers and their way of life. Learn firsthand about Cambodian agriculture and rural living, while supporting local communities.Our tours are designed to help enhance the income of local farmers, offering them additional sources of revenue while providing you with an authentic experience. In Battambang province, agriculture generates 70-75% of the income, and by joining us, you’ll gain insight into this essential aspect of life while making a positive impact.Our tour guides are agriculture students from the National University of Battambang. Not only are they fluent in English, but they also possess extensive knowledge about the farms and rural practices. By participating, you contribute to their educational funds.Farm Experiences:We collaborate with two distinct farms for our tours:Community Farm near Mount Romsaysak:This farm is run by a collective of three farmers and multiple families. They mainly grow rice, cassava, longan, and mango. You’ll have the chance to engage in farm work, and also enjoy the tranquility and natural beauty in the shadow of Mount Romsaysak. We also offer tours to two hidden pagodas nestled in the forest, known by few locals. Each pagoda has a cave nearby for exploration, offering a peaceful connection with nature.Women-Led Organic Farm:Specializing in organic farming, this farm focuses on fruits and vegetables. Here, you’ll learn about sustainable agricultural practices, from planting to harvesting. After farming, you can join a cooking class where we’ll teach you how to prepare a traditional Khmer dish with fresh produce from the farm.Explore Classic Attractions:To complete your experience, we offer visits to local landmarks such as Banan Temple, the Bamboo Train, and the Killing Caves.Tour Options:We offer two full-day tours, two morning tours, and two afternoon tours—one for each farm. Due to this arrangement, we can only provide one tour per farm each day. If the full-day tour is booked, you’re welcome to join the morning tour or choose a tour to the other farm.Morning tours start at 7:00 AM, to ensure we arrive before the midday heat.Afternoon tours begin between 12:00 PM and 12:30 PM, for those who prefer a later start.If you’d like a personalized experience, just let us know, and we’ll create a custom tour for you. We also offer specialized programs for schools, universities, and kindergartens.Our team
